Hi I'm Lelsey. As a Person-Centred Therapist, I believe the relationship between counsellor and client is the foundation for a process of personal growth and mental well being. I'm dedicated to providing a supportive, non-judgmental space where you’ll feel heard, valued and accepted.
You're the expert on your own life, and I’m here to support you in exploring choices and changes that align with your values and goals. Therapy is a collaboration between client and counsellor - a partnership where we attend to our innermost self. My roll as a counsellor is to nurture this process.
EXPERIENCE
I hold a Level 5 Higher Professional Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As a member I am committed to upholding their ethical framework, which includes regular supervision and continuing professional development.
I specialise in online therapy, working with clients in the United Kingdom and South Africa. I have lived and worked in both countries for many years. My extensive experience in hospitality and film production provides me a unique understanding of pressures and demands that come with constantly changing schedules and locations. I offer flexible scheduling, including out-of-business-hours sessions, to accommodate current work environments.
